Day for Girls Success

Day for Girls is a project we have been running for just over a year.  It helps girls in other countries to gain access to feminine hygiene products.  These packs have been made by dedicated volunteers who attend workshops monthly at our centre. We are very pleased and proud to be taking 20 full packs to York so they can be distrubuted to the villages and to the girls who need them. Well done everyone involved - a job well done x Click here to download a newsletter or visit our Day for Girls page for more info

If you may be interested in volunteering at our Immingham shop (3 hours per week) please call in or ring us on 01469 573021.

ENGIE send their support

A group of workers from Engie gave up a day at work to give their time to support Women's Aid

Staff from Engie gave up 2 working days to come and help us to do some much needed work in the back of our Hainton Square Charity Shop They all worked tirelessly taking down walls, cleaning, plaster boarding and filling 2 huge skips ! This work has saved us thousands of pounds and will help us to raise much needed funds to sustain our support services, including those for children We have to continually fundraise and one way we do this is via our Charity Shops so the staff, volunteers, women and children at Refuge would like to say a huge THANK YOU to you all for helping us x
