Family Support Sessions

These are monthly sessions offered to help support family members of those experiencing domestic abuse.

Family members and/or friends who are trying to understand, often ask us for support too. We know it is really difficult for them to understand why the abuse is happening and how they can help.

These FREE sessions have been developed for family and friends of victims and survivors, who have been or are experiencing domestic abuse. It is open to both male and female relatives and friends.

Questions Often Asked:

  • Why don’t they just leave him?

  • Why do they keep going back to him?

  • Why do they keep putting up with it?

  • Why don’t they listen to us?

We get lots of calls from family and friends who are struggling with ‘why’ people stay in, or return to abusive relationships.
