Alternatively, The National Centre for Domestic Violence (NCDV) offer lots of valuable information about protection orders for victims and survivors of domestic abuse.

They also offer an award-winning FREE service that allows anyone who has recently suffered or been threatened with domestic abuse to apply for an emergency court injunction, regardless of their financial circumstances, race, gender or sexual orientation.  The order can sometimes be issued within 24 hours of making contact – working in partnership with the police, solicitors and other support agencies (inc Women’s Aid) to help victims obtain speedy protection.
