Day for Girls

Days for Girls (DfG) is a world-wide project which involves women coming together to make washable, easy to use, feminine hygiene kits for girls in developing countries. In some countries, due to poverty, many girls have no feminine hygiene provision and can’t go to school during menstruation, therefore missing out on large parts of their education. (1 week in 4)

We run small & friendly FREE workshops for women of all ages to help make up the low cost, cleverly designed kits, which are then packed by volunteers and delivered to the girls and women. ANY SKILLS (drawing round templates, cutting, pressing with iron, pinning, hand or machine sewing, etc)

Our next workshop is Saturday 16th September 2023

You can call in anytime between 10am to 4pm – whatever time you can give

For more information call Denise or Kate on 575757
