If you are wondering how you can help and get involved in fundraising for our charity, we’ve highlighted 7 easy ways you can fundraise, to enable us to continue to do the work we do.
So here are 7 easy ways anyone can get involved and help us by raising money, either individually or as a business.
Club 400 Lottery

There are now over 400 members in our Club 400 Lottery scheme, where members pay £1 per month, directly to us by standing order and receive a dedicated number included in our Club 400 Lottery.
At the end of every month, a refuge child draws out 3 lucky, winning numbers, who split half the money taken for that month and the other half goes to our Refuge Children’s Service.
You can have as many numbers as you like each month!
If you’d like to join our Club 400 Lottery, please email denise@womensaidnel.org for more information.
Maybe you could ask your family and friends too. It’s just £1 per month!Easyfundraising is a simple and easy way for you to support our charity every time you shop on line, at no cost to you
Easy Fundraising

It can be activated on your PC or mobile phone and you shop exactly the same as normal but with the added bonus that Easyfundraising will donate a portion of the purchase price directly to Women’s Aid.
Argos, Ebay, JustEat, Etsy, Moonpig, Booking.com, Screwfix, Dunelm and Trainline are just a few of the 7,000 businesses subscribed to the scheme.
It’s easy to join Easy Fundraising, simply follow the link.
And why not tell your friends and family, it would make such a difference to us.
Donate and Shop In Our eBay shop

You may have that special item with a higher value, that you would like to donate to Women’s Aid but is too good simply to drop in to our charity shop.
We can get more money by selling those types of donations on our Charity Ebay Page.
If you are interested and would like to know more, why not have a browse on our Ebay page, via the link above or email louisa@womensaidnel.org
Host A Collection Tub

Could you or someone you know have a collection tub in your office or on your shop counter to help raise money for domestic abuse victims/survivors?
Every penny really does help and it all mounts up at the end of the year.
Organise An Event

If you would like to organise an event to raise funds for us, we’d love to hear from you.
Some examples of things people have done in the past are holding a coffee morning, a garden party, a charity pub quiz, name cards at work and fundraising evenings, as well sponsored events like walks, runs, slims and anything else you can think of.
This is a great way to involve other people and raise awareness of domestic abuse in the wider community and we are so grateful for the funds people raise this way.
Donate Your Time

Donating the gift of ‘your time’, volunteering is one of the most precious gifts you can give and there are many roles within Women’s Aid filled by volunteers.
It might not be the first thing you think about as a fundraising activity but it’s our volunteers who keep our charity shops open, help in the Women’s Centre and fulfil a number of roles across the organisation, allowing us to continue to support survivors of domestic abuse in North East Lincs.
We have positions for people interested in:
✅ General shop work ✅ Books – sorting & display ✅ Sorters – with an eye for good quality donations, to keep the shop stocked with the best items possible ✅ Jewellery sorting & display ✅ Till work ✅ Window displays & Visual Merchandising ✅ Shoes & Handbags sorting & display ✅ CDs, DVDs & Electronic Games – sorting & display ✅ Albums & LPs sorting ✅ Ironing – This role is very flexible for those people who cannot commit to set shifts or set days ✅ Cleaner – We need cleaners to help us for an hour, a couple of mornings per week, before the shop opens.
If you’d like to join our incredible team of volunteers, just drop us a message or email support@womensaidnel.org
Nominate Us As Your Chosen Charity In Business

Partnering with a charity is one of the best things you can do for your business.
As well as being a great way to demonstrate your philanthropic values, the whole notion of ‘giving back’ is becoming more and more a factor for employees when selecting a place to work.
Whether you’re a sole trader or large corporate, the value to you as a business, connecting with a local charity, is a great way to demonstrate your business ethos and values.
