eBay Online charity shop

It’s great when you shop in our charity shops but we also know some of you love shopping online.

Our Women’s Aid Charity eBay Shop is a great place to satisfy your online shopping urges and support us at the same time. Many of our supporters donate items to our charity shops.

But sometimes, we know that there are items of higher value that you think might not sell for what they’re worth in the shops.

You may have that special or treasured item that you would like to donate to Women’s Aid but know is worth more money.

Check out what we have for sale here Women's Aid eBay

We can get more money by selling those type of donations on our Charity eBay page.

You might think it’s easy to sell a few items on eBay but when you’re determined to get the best price for those more unusual items donated, we take it very seriously!

The team go to great lengths to seek out and then present items donated in their best light and where possible get the very best price from people wanting examples of the ‘unusual’.

The way Tim sees it, the Women’s Aid eBay Shop is…

‘A specialist department finding new homes for unusual items’.

And it would be fair to say they’ve had some very unusual items! And some specialist items too…As well as items of great value!

And these are all sums of money from generous people simply donating items they no longer needed or wanted but have taken the time to bring them into our shop.

Omnichord
And this Omnichord musical instrument sold for £260, to someone who really knew the value of a classic electronic instrument.
Hardy Fishing Rod
This Hardy fishing rod sold for over £300 at auction!
Mini Figures

But it’s not all high value items, Tim, a Grandfather and avid model railway enthusiast, is always on the lookout for toys and models, some of which are collector’s items too!Since opening the eBay shop, it’s grown, year on year and last year turned over more than £50,000, with this year already being 80% busier than the same period last year.

The team dispatch around 100 parcels a week, with an average sale value of £17 and are always amazed at the price some items bring, like a pair of Danish cabinets selling for £500 and a silver biscuit barrel selling for £300 at auction. Well you might be surprised, as it’s not always the people you would expect, the team have supplied film studios and theatres, as well as collectors and members of the general public, who simply want something different.

Don’t think your old tat is worthless, just because it doesn’t work, the things you see as props on TV or on stage don’t have to work, they just need to look the part.If you think you might have something in the shed or attic that’s been gathering dust for years and you didn’t know what to do with it…

Bring it down to our Hainton Square charity shop on a Tuesday or Friday and let them know your item is for eBay

And we’ll do the rest!
